A Charmed Week #13

I didn’t have time last Sunday to post my weekly update, so this is going to cover the past two weeks!

In My Life

Well, I went to Florida with my friends!  It was a lot of fun but it was really nice to come back home to my boyfriend and my cats.  We spent a day at Universal going through Harry Potter World and that took a lot out of me.  We had to wake up at 5:30 in the morning to make the 3 hour drive and we didn’t end up getting home until around 11:30 at night.  It was a lot of fun, but I don’t think I will be doing that again unless I am staying in Orlando (preferably at Disney World because this cements the fact that Disney is 10x better than Universal anyway).

I had a pretty easy week at work.  I had off on Monday because of President’s Day, so after getting back from Florida the boyfriend and I went to a late Valentine’s Dinner.  And then I had off on Wednesday because there was no heat at the library.

On Friday we went to see Deadpool and went out to dinner again with a giftcard from my birthday.  I really liked Deadpool and it was really nice not have to worry about paying for a fancy dinner.  And last night we went into DC to go to a Capital’s game.  I spent most of today sleeping off a hangover.  Getting old sucks.

Well I broke my Book Buying Ban because I had to buy a book for class so I figured I would go ahead and buy one for fun as well.  My friend has been telling me to read this book for ages, so I’m finally giving it a shot.  Hopefully I like it!

  1. Harry Potter is going to be at Universal in Hollywood too. Opens in April. Can’t wait to go! Agree on staying at Disney. When I lived in Orlando, I always suggested visitors to stay on Disney property. Much more fun and more safe.
