Favorite Covers of 2015

Whoever said you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover was wrong (it’s people you shouldn’t judge by their looks, not books!).  It is the first thing you see, and if the cover is butt ugly it is going to be a lot harder for me to even pick it up.  Sometimes I add books to my TBR without even reading the synopsis and just hope for the best.

Of course, I have been burned by a beautiful cover before, and pleasantly surprised by a boring ugly one.  The best books, in my opinion, have both beautiful stories and beautiful covers.  And just because the book wasn’t for me doesn’t make me love the cover any less!

Here are 15 of my favorite covers from the 2015 New Releases.

I wasn’t very good with reading 2015 releases this year, which I’m trying to make up for with the 2016 New Release Challenge. All I’ve read of this list is Dumplin’ and Beastkeeper, both of which actually disappointed me.

Do you judge books by their covers? What are some of your favorite book covers?

  1. Woah! When you put all these BEAUTIFUL covers next to each other… it feels like bookish heaven! They look so pretty together! Also, I loved the cover of Winter and also The Heir (by Kiera Cass)! Oh and the Queen Of Shadows cover is stunning! Also, The Rose Society by Marie Lu had such an interesting cover and The White Rose by Amy Ewing has such a beautiful cover!

    • It took me forever to find the girl on the Wrath and the Dawn. I thought it was just pretty gold stars on a red cover for so long! I think the cover for the 2nd one is even prettier. Cruel Beauty was beautiful, except I DNFed it because I found it so boring.

  3. I totally judge books by their covers, which is awful of course. But hey, we’re human 😉 I love the Ten Thousand Skies Above You cover, and Love Disasters. Those are my favorites from your list, though I don’t dislike any of them! Very pretty choices. I love covers, I could just look at them all day!
