I have a serious book buying problem. I own tons of books that I haven’t read yet. And while I’m trying to change that. I try not to buy as many books (ha) but there are some books that I have owned for quite a time and still haven’t gotten around to reading.
I’m not exactly sure why I haven’t picked this up beyond the fact that it’s long. At 576 pages I need to have enough energy to devote entirely to this book and I’m pretty lazy these days.
Another long book, and this time part of a series. A series I hear goes down in quality. I’ll still probably give it a shot eventually.
I’m actually extremely excited about reading this and I’ll probably start the series sometime in 2016. Probably more towards the end since the last book will be coming out in 2017.
Honestly? I’ve picked this book up a few times to read, read a few pages and put it down. I’m sure I would get into it if I actually gave it a shot, but for now I feel like it will just sit on my bookshelf. Plus it doesn’t help that there are still two more books in the series without publication dates and it seems to take her a long time to write them.
I’ve never read a Courtney Summers book but I’ve pretty much heard nothing but great things. I’ve also heard that her books often destroy you. And I need to be in certain moods to willingly subject myself to that.
What should I read first? Any I should just give up on and sell/donate?
